What an absolute gem! My first visit, arrived and departed by train. Superb beer and very cosy and clean. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately the chef was off sick, but very nice cobs and pork pies which went well with Holdens Beer.

A beer filled oasis of calm in a maelstrom of noise...... Holdens beers lead the charge supported by ever rotating guest ales and the bar creaks under the weight of cobs and pies.
It is unsurprisingly a railway station and other than arriving by boat the train is the most fabulous way to arrive for a beer.
Friendly staff and simply the best snack selection in South Staffordshire.
You should visit.

Fantastic Little pub. Situated on the Trainline so easy to get to without driving. Good selection of Ales and spirits. The Atmospere is great especialy if you like trains. A real hidden Gem. Give it a visit when there`s a beer Festival if possible.

Met up with friends at the Station to sample the many local special beers, which all seemed very popular. And listen to local musicians, apart from the odd shower of rain brilliant. Also for the hungry a unit selling fast food.
My only criticism as a wheel chair user I found it near impossible on my own to access the beer marquee as it was up a rather tall curb and then between a very snug entrance. Through marquee and then down the curb. No way could I have done this on my own.

Me and my husband visit this local pub on a very regular basis. It has a very welcome feel since the new manager Toby and his crew have taken over. The whole place looks well cared for. I don't drink the ales and local beers myself but I have heard it being said how much better these taste (apparently it's due to the pipes being cleaned properly). I have also noticed the place is buzzing with new faces which is great to see. There is a small menu but this is of very good quality and the produce is supplied locally 🖒. If you havnt been yet then it's a must to try.
