When we visited sadly there were no narrow boats on the canal. The weather was grey and damp but one could imagine how interesting it would be to see the boats going through this series of locks. Beautifully constructed brickwork and walkways all around the...More

Nice enough spot but nothing out of ordinary as locks go. Parking not easy. Reading the comments from others I was expecting there to be more to it.

Any canalside walk is always good, but the short stretch of the Staffs and Worcester between the Bratch and Bumblehole Lock is particularly relaxing, Parking - as other reviewers have noted - can be a bit of a problem.

A very interesting and enjoyable visit. If boats are going through the locks it's a plus as it provides lots of interest and shows you the ingenious building of times past
