A lovely spot on the South Downs and worth a visit on the open Sundays - check for opening. It is impressive to see the windmill operating and interesting to climb up inside.

Beautifully restored windmill, open to the public some Sundays throughout the summer. Parking is a nightmare on lovely days but it's worth the effort

If you have an hour to spare one Sunday afternoon when you are passing through Findon - give the High Salvington Mill a visit. A beautifully restored Post Mill (it rotates around a central oak pillar - pushed by hand!), which they use now and...More

For just one pound you get entry and a guided tour of the mill. Good photo opportunities inside and out. Very reasonably priced tea & cakes. Well worth a visit.
