We went during the week. It was lovely, relaxing and so well maintained. The gardens have so much history and on a beautiful Autumn day the leaves were great and the sky so blue. As they name implies - you are high! Plus its donation...More

Highdown Gardens are a well maintained yet surrounded by natural countryside. Plenty of pathways and areas to explore. Great for kids and adults. A nice place for a picnic.

Really lovely gardens, with a wide variety of plants and trees but dogs, even cute tiny friendly ones, are not allowed. There are adequate areas to walk your dogs around the outside of the gardens tho. The outdoors Shakespeare in the Summer is fantastic :)...More

Perfect place to visit as a family or couple. Constantly changing throughout the year so always a surprise what you're going to see. We love it here
