Worth a visit not cheap. Take a picnic easy access for parking. Gardens are worth a visit even if that's all you do.

Taken me a little while to circle back to this review. We visited at the end of April and the weather was cold. The house to us seemed to have fewer stories than many other NT properties and didn’t feel steeped in history as others...More

I am turning my review around 180 degrees. I am a volunteer worker at Upton, part of The Welcome Team. Over the years I have enjoyed sharing my experience of Upton House and Gardens with visitors. Yesterday I had the pleasure of spending my day...More

We preferred the layout of the house as the wartime bank as it flowed better and we felt we learned more about the family but the gardens are still nice to look around and there’s a small shop and tea room. Well worth a visit.

Can’t believe we didn’t know about this gem on our doorstep. The house is lovely but the real attraction is the art collection. The staff are understandably enthusiastic about the collection and keen to tell you about the individual items if you are interested, which...More

Well worth a visit to see the well restored and furnished house. The gardens are also extensive and well stocked. Very easy to get around and lovely areas for that romantic picnic if the weather is being kind!
