I was with my family including my grandsons . It was a nice clean envirement. The food looked to be average but we did not eat there . the toilets were clean and child friendly. security was also good . it kept my grandsons very happy. It was nice to see a group of physically challenged people enjoying a day out as well as children . definately recommend

Bouncy, slidey activity centre for kids and adults. Pleasant staff. Took 15 kids and several adults. We all had a good time.

Ideal if you have younger children but as they get older, not the ideal location. Space is small, so when full not much space for anything!

I have been here a few times with my 2 year old son.
The first time I came we was waiting outside for 20 minutes for someone to arrive after the opening time.
The staff never seem very happy.
It is dirty and there are a lot of things in the soft play with are broken/damaged, gaps and rips are dangerous and need repairing.
I come here occasionly as it is something nearby for my son and he does enjoy it. I think with a good clean and patch up it could be a good thing.
I do think it is overpriced for what it is.

We went here for a SEN session with family and friends. You have to pay independently for each child to play in the 2 zones. They are a Trampoline section and a climbing area with ball pit and slide etc. I found this very infuriating. My son is severely autistic and didnt understand you can not go where he likes within the whole play area sent him on many a meltdowns. I paid for both areas knowing this in advance but wasn't aware you have to be in one section at a time. You CANNOT go between the areas. You have time limits!! Not only this but i found it quite unclean and cramped. There was only 1 member of staff at the cafeteria and the woman was rushed off her feet. She didnt produce a smile and wasnt friendly either. I will not be returning here!!

Full of trampolines and a child friendly play area. There are pits of foam chunks for you to dive into and a little assault course to jump around. It has a basket ball hoop too for you to practice like Jordan and a little restaurant. The restaurant could be cheaper, most things I though - that's a bit more than I thought. But generally it's about on par with other prices for food in kids play in basildon.

Well worth a visit, we've only been once but will go back for sure.

Just had my son's 5th birthday party here and I can truly say it was the worst experience I have ever encountered. I very rarely write any reviews but I have felt the need to because the experience I had here was so bad.

I am still mortified at the awful experience and the way we were treated by the 'party organiser' who didn't seem to be organising much at all and never even introduced herself to us on arrival. When booking the party we were notified that there would be no other party taking place and numbers were restricted to 40 children (something which the 'party organiser' then lied about later and said they would never have said that). In legal terms it was a complete misrepresentation on their part.

We were told to get the children to arrive for 11:45am for a safety talk which never actually took place.

To my shock we arrived to find that the place was very busy and extremely hot. We also discovered that another party was taking place at the same time as ours and that the party food for our children would not be served until 2pm, as they were serving the other party their food first. The 2pm food serving time was very late for a party start time of 11:45am especially considering as the party was taking place through lunch time and so the children would have only their breakfast in the morning.

I kept on having to ask when the food would be coming out as all the children were starving and I was mortified to see some of the parents of our party having to buy food and crisps for their kids. I was feeling extremely stressed and when we approached the 'party organiser' about this she did not want to listen, was argumentative and did not care. Whilst we were talking to her she just kept on trying to walk off. Her attitude and lack of empathy was awful.

The whole party was completely disorganised. They took a lot of money off us and left us in an awful situation. It was pure greed that in such a small place they would have another large party on at the same time as ours which made the place extremely hot and busy. It also delayed us having our food because they only had the one small party dining area at the back of the room which the other party were using (it was extremely cramped).

At 1:45pm they told me the food was ready when I had to chase them again for it but the tables were not even set up and the other party guests had only just left. The staff were slow at setting up the tables and the kids were so hungry that they were rushing to sit down while the staff were still setting up.

As the party food was late in being served then so was the birthday cake. Again there was no organisation in the staff getting the birthday cakes ready. We had to chase them again as a lot of the parents wanted to leave. As non of the tables had been cleared we had to try and figure out where the birthday cake should go.

The cake cutting was a nightmare too. They were cutting such big slices that I kept on having to tell them to reduce the size because I was concerned that there would not be enough cake for everyone. At one point one of the girls was just butchering the cake in random places with a knife whilst working out how to cut it. It's not how you would like to see your sons expensive birthday cake being treated.

Basically everything had a 'knock on' effect in terms of poor timing. As the food was served late, then so was the cake and hence I was manically trying to put all of the birthday cake into the party bags because a lot of the guests were leaving. It was all very stressful and not something that I ever want to experience again.

The only time they seemed to be alert to us was when they wanted the drinks tab to be paid at the end. Overall an awful experience and the party organiser's behaviour towards us was a compete disgrace. The only positive things I can say about the experience is that the food was nice and the kids enjoyed the trampoline and soft play area. But there are lots of party venues in Essex and this certainly is a place that I will never be coming back to nor recommending to anyone.

Drop zone is very dirty to start off with, They could really use with some new foam cubes, the stuff from the foam cubes gets everywhere. The trampolines don't get cleaned because they are covered on it too,
There is not many trampolines and they are very squeaky and not as bouncy as any other trampoline centre.
As far as I could tell, there were only three members of staff, but they were lovely so it was okay.
They served a variety of food and drinks which was good.
overall I think if they got some new trampolines and fixed everything and gave it a good clean then it would be lovely (small) trampoline centre.

I visited with my three year old daughter and was horrified at how dangerous the soft play was. One slide and been polished so much that I took off at the end and my daughter crashed against the side the whole way down. I went down another slide with my daughter on my lap and the crash mat was no longer at the bottom of it, as a result I landed on concrete and injured my back. I complained by email and they haven't even bothered to respond. I will definitely not be going back

I don't want to sound too negative as we did have a really good time here but there are issues I would have been annoyed by on any other visit. It was my daughter's 3rd birthday and we had her and 4 other children ranging in age from 5-12 with us so we needed somewhere that could entertain them all. Drop zone has a very good soft play area that entertained the younger children for a long time, they loved it. There is also a trampoline area with good amount of trampolines a foam pit and a dodgeball bit with 2 basketball hoops. The younger children loved it but it was a bit small and old. The foam in the pit was grubby and falling apart and the staff didn't interact at all. At jump street in colchester the staff are starting dodgeball games and refereeing them but there was nothing like that here. Like I said the younger children loved it and we had a good time but I wouldn't take older children for the trampoline park as it falls far below the competition. At £9 an hour for a session compared to £10 at jump street, I'd rather pay the extra £1. I think they would create an amazing business if they incorporated the trampolines into the soft play and lower the maximum age so it is safer for smaller children on the trampolines.
