The temple can be seen towering above Buxton from certain vantage points. We climbed to the temple from The Caravan and Camping Club campsite. Amazing views of the Derbyshire landscape.

Our dog loves the walk up to the temple through the woodland. The hill gets the lungs working and you meet quite a few people. Fantastic autumn colour this year. We were lucky and had a clear sunny day.

Several footpaths from the car park at pools cavern lead up to Solomon’s temple. It’s a good and easy walk with lovely views over Buxton. It is a good walk for dogs to run free and chase squirrels.

Great walk from town_not too strenous and rewarding view when accomplished. Just wish dog walkers would keep thier pooches on a lead.

I trudge up here as often as I can and the views never fail to inspire. Snow, sun, wind - the weather's always changing so no visit is ever quite the same.
