From sobriety and temperance to this splendid JDW! We three British guys were looking to grab a meal before heading off to Calais on a late eurotunnel crossing. We had already had a pint in the ancient British Bulldog and knew we could trust JDW's...More

Called n for a drink when in Folkestone. Typical of Weatherspoons pub guest beers on offer did not inspire us but would have other visitors. As with all their pubs prices are good

I was staying at Sandgate and we popped into Folkestone, a beeline was made straight to this pub, I like it here, a glass of white wine, 2x Doombar and lunch was consumed and I hope it's not too long before we visit again :-)

Poor experience today. Chilli nachos... cold chilli (sent back twice)! Steak and kidney pudding was rubbery- burgers/chips not overly hot. Shame as wetherspoons are usually ok.... wouldn't recommend this branch, staff miserable too!
