Great selection of well kept ales at reasonable prices. Unlike other comments I much prefer the new premises with more room and better seating. We have tried the other micropubs in the area and this is one of the best if not the best.

Just stopped in for a quick drink as close to bus station. Great beers, nice service, friendly customers. Cosy little place, more real ale than hipster, Absolutely worth a visit.

What this place has gained in space they have lost in atmosphere and character since they moved a few doors up the road. The beer remains excellent though which is of paramount importance but it’s like walking into a shop with bright lights, hard plain...More

A gen of a place. No bar so brewmaster comes to table and you choose from list on wall. V reasonable prices too. A must visit for lovers of real ale and ciders. Hubby found best cider ever.

Micro pub with small brewery beers and ciders that rarely disappoint. Saturday afternoon post-shopping stop offs are our favourite.
