Nice little 20 seater barge, run by very knowledgable and friendly volunteers. Leaves from the wharf and goes west along the Kennet. You traverse one lock , which can take a bit of time depending on the river traffic. Very pleasant scenery. Well worth it....More

Travelled on this boat from Crofton Nr Marlborough as part of the steam fair at the Beam Engine. The boat was comfortable and there was tea/alcohol on board for the thirsty. An interesting commentarty was given on the history of the canal and the boat....More

The boat trip was lovely and relaxing and the crew were very nice and friendly, the sights were great and it was fairly peaceful. You get to experience going through a lock which was a thrill. However, a couple of people were 15minutes late so...More

Highly recommend the pirate trip. Fantastic holiday fun for the children reasonably priced and well organised. Great opportunity to dress up and enjoy the river Kennet. Run by happy volunteers.
