It may be small but it was lovely to visit a place run with such passion and enthusiasm. The changing displays were both worth a look but the highlight was the project to restore the immense fabric artwork exhibited at the Festival of Britain. We...More

Run by volunteers who are always extremely helpful. Check website for some interesting courses being held here. Also - you can find haberdashery and material at low prices. Exhibitions are always interesting and well worth a visit.

An interesting place if you are in to needle work. Displays change regularly and there are summer activities for children but these are not well advertised.

I did not know about this place until I was asked to put on a display there. They seem to have a lot of keen volunteers and I am sure it is a great source of information.
