Snelsmore changes over the year, from wet and boggy , to dusty undergrowth. But it's always nice to wander around the various paths

At last a some nice weather after al the rain. Snelsmore Common was rather wet and muddy underfoot and fairly busy with families finding something to do in the countryside. Good views and pleasant walks. We accessed via Donnington Castle

This is a beautiful woodland park and lowland heath with a number of walking tracks within the park boundary as well as longer footpaths going out towards Donnington Castle and Bagnor. A great location for a Sunday afternoon walk.

Plenty of routes to walk with the Dog, daughter loved it also getting to see the horses roaming around. Will be going back soon. Would be a lovely place for a picnic

A beautiful area to walk if you enjoy nature and walking. The common is well kept and during August there are areas with fragrant heather being worked by the honey bees. Visitors can quite easily find a 5 mile walk via Honey Bottom, Bagnor and...More
