My friends took me to this wonderful theater. The setting is beautiful with well maintained lawns, a beautifully restored water mill and surrounding properties. The theater is very intimate and comfortable. The on-site restaurent offers a good meal before (and after the play). The quality...More

My wife and I go to the Watermill fairly frequently. We like to sit in the front row - you feel you are in the action. Even further back you still get the feeling of intimacy. The plays they put on are good, and the...More

Not much laughter as I recall, and a lot of words of similar type, hardly audible on the very back row upstairs! However the Food before hand in the restaurant was very good, and got us off to a good start.

A great little theatre, in a quirky building that lends real ambiance to their productions. The balcony slip seats are a little odd but as long as you are not near one of the columns it is an interesting, different view of the performance.

Just saw a mesmeric production of Jane Eyre, with only 3 x actors playing several parts. Wre-asha Walton (Bertha), Rebecca Tebbett (Jane) and Alex Wilson (Mr Rochester) manage to hold the audience to the very last word. Wre-Asha Walton deserves particular mention for her ability...More

This is a great little theatre in an old quirky building in a lovely location. We saw Ian Hislop's Trial by Laughter which was great - and a sell out. The gallery seats (rows O and P) have limited views so not recommended. Parking is...More

We've been to many shows and meals at the Watermill and always enjoyed them, some occasions more than others as is to be expected. Our evening at Trial by Laughter was, sorry to say, a disappointment. Starter buffet good as always. Vegetarian moussaka of £5...More

Went to see Jodi Prenger in Calamity Jane a while ago. The theatre is small, the atmosphere was wonderful. It is a very friendly theatre. Suitable for all the family Would definitely go back

A small, intimate and friendly theatre. The talent and creativity of the actor/musicians and the set designers is amazing.

There is ample parking for the Theatre. For disabled drivers, book a space immediately to the front of the car park. There is an overspill car park used which is less than 100 metres from the theatre. If you have a disabled... More
