Lovely walk, you have a choice of paths going down to Sidmouth or longer one which takes you to Beer or shorter down the hill to the beach which is empty

There are several walks around this area... would definitely recommend checking a map before heading out.....some flat well prepared shorter routes and plenty of longer more hilly walks We tried to follow earlier advice.... dropping down the steep stairs and back up the easier route...More

Expected a gentle stroll but friend developed pains in old knees and we gave the full tour a miss . Undulating coastal paths though very very pretty really are no place for dodgy knees ....

We did this walk on a very cold but dry and sunny day in February. It was delightful but be warned as there are 92 steps down to the beach itself and it felt like an awful lot more coming back up again! Definitely worth...More

Parked the car and decided to have a walk..... have done this walk many times and always astounded by the views. You can walk into Sidmouth which is all down hill, so remember when walking back it’s all up hill, there are more amazing views...More

We parked in the National Trust car park and then did a circular walk of 4-5 miles which took us down into Sidmouth and then through the Byes riverside park. Getting back up to the top of the hill is a bit of a slog!...More
