Played as a single but due to the recent hot weather the grass was burned and the ball rolled. On those holes where the fairway sloped, you knew you’d end up in the forest or, if lucky, in the bunker. 2nd half for someone who...More

Ideally suited for a small wedding reception but it does seem very expensive for what you get. Very small dance floor. Only 2 toilets in the ladies so expect queuing.

It may well be the very hot weather, but the grass was very patchy with cracks in the soil. However, we enjoyed it greatly and it wasn't that busy apart from a family ahead of us playing football golf who we didn't catch.

Lovely course to suit most levels of player. A fair few bunkers but no water hazards to hinder you. Nice rolling countryside holes with alot of mature trees. We had coffees in the club house afterwards. The lounge was quite lively with darts in one...More

Back in the day, Panshanger Golf Complex was voted the 2nd best public golf course in the UK. That was decades ago though and it must have been downhill from there. The layout is excellent, but maintenance has been neglected by the company that runs...More

The 9 hole pitch and putt course is really nice way to spend an hour or two as a family. It is reasonably priced and it was great fun. You can also go on the same course using a football rather than a golf ball....More

Panshanger Golf Complex is a welcoming environment with a well maintained and reasonably challenging course for all handicaps and most levels of skill. The park and green is pleasant and the club house offers good food and drink at reasonable prices with a good view...More

A more traditional course, there are some challenges and hazards that will test any handicapper. The clubhouse is a little dated, but certainly has the Tavern feel about it. Shame it doesn't have a driving range but certainly I will be comig here again. The...More

This is a fairly ordinary golf course but it is a decent test for a municipal run course. There is a small 9 hole pitch and putt which is in poor condition and not worth a visit. If you're looking for better courses locally there...More

I played this as they were doing a promotion in the local paper of 2 for 1 so it was a total bargain considering its normal fee is only £25. As it's a council course I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. The...More
