It may well be the very hot weather, but the grass was very patchy with cracks in the soil. However, we enjoyed it greatly and it wasn't that busy apart from a family ahead of us playing football golf who we didn't catch.
Lovely course to suit most levels of player. A fair few bunkers but no water hazards to hinder you.
Nice rolling countryside holes with alot of mature trees.

The 9 hole pitch and putt course is really nice way to spend an hour or two as a family. It is reasonably priced and it was great fun.
You can also go on the same course using a football rather than a golf ball....More
Panshanger Golf Complex is a welcoming environment with a well maintained and reasonably challenging course for all handicaps and most levels of skill.
The park and green is pleasant and the club house offers good food and drink at reasonable prices with a good view...More
A more traditional course, there are some challenges and hazards that will test any handicapper.
The clubhouse is a little dated, but certainly has the Tavern feel about it.
Shame it doesn't have a driving range but certainly I will be comig here again.
This is a fairly ordinary golf course but it is a decent test for a municipal run course.
There is a small 9 hole pitch and putt which is in poor condition and not worth a visit.
