I love the park but the parking at Sheepmount is ridiculous. Camper vans always parked there, people parking there all day & going off to work. Not fair if you’re just wanting to park and go for a picnic or a walk with the dog....More
Lovely little park which has great facilities for younger children. The water area and the sandpit area was a favorite with our children. Nice and tidy, no litter or dog mess etc.

Great park, adjacent to the Castle. Fantastic space for dog walking, lots of lovely gardens & trees & play spaces dor the kids.
Only minor disappointment - toilets all locked up, with no communication explaining the reason.
beautifully kept plenty of walking, to do along river, play area for children we were there sat kids love it and the water feature is great for suprising the wee ones as you never know when they will spout out.

Butts park in the center of Carlisle, has playground for the kids with an adventure pool, all fenced in. Food and drink, albeit only snacks. An adventure climbing thing, like Go Ape. Even one for younger children. Tennis courts, and lots of spAce to play...More
