This is a walk around a lake which takes less than an hour. There is a car park which is not free, so take a credit card or some change. There is a small cafe which serves snacks and food for the ducks.

Despite the high parking charge this is well worth a visit, the yarn is very pretty in all seasons and the paths make it accessible to all. Avoid the cafe which is grim.

There are shore areas around the lakesides and you could paddle but due to algae and bird muck, I wouldn't advise it for children.

Owners do let dogs off lead but if your dog likes to explore there is lots of space and s/he would be able to wander off if s/he had a mind to.
