I love having Highwoods on my doorstep. There are lots of dog walkers and 99% of them respect the ark and pick up. It also feels very safe. I love this park in the Autumn as its peaceful. I do wish the parking was free...More

We love coming here for a few hours or even longer. Walk through the woods, visit the pound or meadow for a picnic. There's 2 playgrounds for young children and the park is massive. Just remember the car park costs 50p for 2 hours.

Great wooden adventure play in the middle of a beautiful forest. Suitable for all ages. Lovely lake and walks. Easy to find a good picnic spot too. Even better - 50p to park for 2 hours. Can't beat it!

Certainly - there are two excellent play areas that cater for younger and the more adventurous opposite the path from each other just down from the visitor centre.
