As I work locally to the pub I thought I'd give it a visit despite the bad reviews from my colleagues. To quote someone I was with 'I've never felt so unwelcome in my life'. If you decide to go there make sure you take...More

Lovely place to stop on a sunny afternoon, next to a river, place to park, pretty exterior. That's where it ends. Food is disappointing & very 'café' like. Staff not interested in helping. Atmosphere is 'come in.eat.pay & go as quickly as possible'. Not a pleasant experience.

Probably, no in fact the rudest bar tender I have ever come across! You are not greeted with a "hello" or "welcome" but a sower faced, grumpy bar tender who really appears not to want to be there and looks at you as if he...More
