probably would have been better in summer was officially closed when I went (you could still see a few bits but guessing is more impressive in the summer)

Sadly this attraction is closed until March next year. Unfortunately you don't know this until you arrive.

Just discovered after some building work, there are information boards to help understand what this area is all about, personally I found it very interesting.

A great addition to Colchester's historical s scene. Guided tour is very informative without being too highbrow. Pleasant cafe as well.
