Went to this pub based on trip adviser reviews only to find it has closed down! Do not waste your time going there! Some reports say that it has changed management numerous times in the past so it might reopen again but I still would...More

One of are locals for what you pay for food is great home cooked instead of everything out of the freezer real ales pleasant staff definitely be back.

Was staying in the village and this pub came recommended so why not! Although we didn't eat here there were several people dining and the food looked and smelled good. Fine selection of hand pull beers as well as the usual draughts and soft drinks....More

Enjoyed my carvery . Just good home cooking and very tasty.. and hot... BETTER THAN THE TOBY... and CHEAPER. GOOD friendly bar staff.. nice little village pub..

Was staying just down the road and went here both nights after work. Very friendly place, the food was great and the choice of beer excellent. This is not cordon bleu food, but it's traditional, plentiful, and fresh.
