These gardens are only open occasionally, usually on Wednesdays in the summer, but it is well worth trying to catch them when they are open because they are superb. I would say it is one of the best gardens I have ever visited; and the...More

Better than ever this year. If you haven't been before this is a must visit garden. Refreshments very pricey but I think some money goes to charity.

It has become somewhat of an annual pilgrimage to see the gardens at Thornton Hall....and we are never disappointed. Well worth a visit as long as the weather holds up. Decent catering too.

Visited today and was pleasantly surprised with what has been achieved. Lots of hard work has been put in to it by the family and it shows and they can be thanked for opening it up for all to see. Well worth a visit but...More

I visited Thornton Hall Gardens last Sunday. It was a beautiful day and the gardens were outstanding. Also a lovely cup of tea and lemon drizzle cake. Sue Manners and her team have done a amazing job, will return later this year.
