We wanted to visit Swanage during our recent stay in Bournemouth and made an early start near the Premier Inn on Westover Road. I knew the Sandbanks ferry was not in service due to an ongoing mechanical issue but still expected a quite scenic detour...More

This is just your normal bus service with some open top vehicles. Unlike a tour bus concession passes are accepted. It’s unusual but these buses don’t have free Wi-fi and dependent on vehicle they might have usb charging. They also offer mobile and contactless payments....More

This bus gets you where you want to go but is like a tour all rolled in to one. The scenery is amazing and The Breezer is a double decker so I could have unobstructed views. I went from Poole to Swanage but passing through...More

Be warned; taking the Purbeck Breezer from Swanage makes for a very expensive trip! Even if you’re only traveling a few stops the fare is £5:50 per person as this is classified as being in all three fare zones, A, B & C. However, going...More

Having used the service 50 multiple times and enjoyed the ride, we decided to give the 30 service a try this Summer as well. It was brilliant! It enabled us to visit the stunningly beautiful Lulworth Cove, walk over the cliff to Durdle Door, go...More

No open top either out from Bournemouth or back to Swanage on a baking hot day. We passed three open top buses on our return journey from Swanage. gggrrrrr. Very hot on the bus, and way too many bus stops around Bournemouth - every 100...More

Sadly this service is dominated by those holding a free bus pass which makes it very difficult for those of us who pay to get on or if you do manage to get on, to get a seat upstairs. £8.80 per adult return fare from...More

We used this bus service three times over the last weekend. The drivers are the loveliest, friendliest people you could meet. They are so polite and their positive attitude puts you in a great mood for the day. Thank you for making our weekend break...More

We used the bus (number 50) to get to Bournemouth but the trip itself was great. We went along narrow roads and across the chain ferry, then through Sands banks and on to Bournemouth. The view from the top of the bus was great.

I don’t know, best ask the bus company as the policy varies although I think I saw dogs on there 2 weeks ago.

Hi Mark. An adult return is £6.90 and a child return is £4.50, totalling £18.30. You may find it more beneficial to get a group dayrider at £23 which allows you to hop on and off all day.
