I have always found the staff helpful and very polite. The course itself is more challenging than it looks on paper and the scenery and wildlife are great, this is a beautiful course to play on in the summer season, not so much in the fall as it can get really muddy..

The golf was one of the worst I have been too, full of mole holes, wasps nests in one of the roughs and the greens are full of holes. Needs restoration ASAP.

We traveled up from Shoeburyness to take our wives to Riverhills Spa nearby and whilst there we wanted to have a game of golf but could not take our clubs due to lack of room. Ringling up in advance the Man on the telephone was very helpful including the hiring of clubs. The following day we turned up at the scheduled time and the clubs were ready, he described the course including giving us a layout of the golf course. The off we went, the course itself was quite good but very picturesque with the wildlife and scenery. Very good but had to keep our mind on the golf as there was a lot of water. Would like to go again perhaps we can arrange a trip. Oh yes friendly staff member who was extremely helpful, good on yer mate!!…

Course is more difficult than your standard pitch and putt, so for casual players I wouldnt recommend it, or you'll be stuck all day! For mid-tier players though, this is a great course, challenging holes. The water hole is particularly good, something you dont normally get on a standard 9 hole, and really enjoyable. Driving range is good for the most part, however always lacking in the rubber tees, always seem to be missing and can never find an orange 'high' tee! Staff friendly and helpful, all in all a great little local course…
