Our award-winning farm shop & deli is overflowing with lovely produce. You will find our own highland beef, free-range eggs and award-winning fruit ice cream as well as locally produced food and pick your own fruit and vegetables in season. There's lots going on - why not browse the craft shops or visit our play area and farm animals? Our Farm Nature Trail is very popular too, but make sure you bring your wellies!

After a lovely walk round Needham Lake with our grandsons and Harry the cockapoo, we decided to give them a treat by extending the walk to Alder Carr Farm. Beautiful sunny bank holiday Sunday but only four outside tables and all occupied. Can’t go inside...More

The farm shop fronts a small complex of craft shops and includes a good cafe. There is also fresh seasonal vegetables with very few "food miles". In May and June the asparagus is grown on the farm and is exceptionally well priced and usefully graded...More

Went for lunch with friends, such a friendly cafe, lovely lady served us. I had the gorgeous mushroom and rosemary soup and the ham and bubble and squeak. The ham is one of the best I have tasted and the soft poached eggs were perfect....More

A lovely cafe with good service and excellent food. I recommend you book as we have been disappointed on several occasions because they are fully booked, or have a large group and "cannot offer any hot food" to anybody else. Frustrating and disappointing, but if...More

Lovely place to eat or just relax with a cuppa. Shops and pick your own fruit. Or just pop in for a lemonade snd ice cream from the well stocked farm shop.

Delicious food from an extensive menu for breakfast, brunch, lunch and afternoon tea. There is much that is locally sourced (probably from the shop) and the cakes are homemade. Whatever meal you go for you will find ot hard to go home without a cake!
