Ipswich Museum is a characterful blend of traditional museum displays, and more modern interpretation panels with a focus on younger visitors. The Natural History Gallery and the Egyptian section were highlights for me, but I'm sure each visitor will have their own favourites. It's free...More

A little-known secret for Ipswich is their museum and being located between the main shopping street and Christchurch park is a great place to visit on route to the park. It's kind of like a little Victorian experience and the kids will love it, just...More

Went there to while away a couple of hours and was really impressed. Great little muse au and well worth a trip. Bit creeped out by all the stuffed animals. Great displays of WW2 and the Anglo saxons. Oh and it's free!
