I often take grandchildren here to the museum. They always enjoy looking round this grand old house and it is interesting seeing it with their eyes. The Counstable of the cathedral was such an experience, great

Stunning museum.with a tea room, original art pieces and free!! Can have guided tours but all are welcome to walk around. Also has original wallpaper in some of the rooms.

Lovely old grand building inside Christchurch Park Ipswich, lovely historical pictures plus settings of old kitchen etc and equipment used as well as pottery etc. Often art exhibition in adjoining hall too.

a guide took us around and he had a great wealth of knowledge on the buiding, and it's history. he stayed with us for over an hour. there is no entrance fee but they do ask for donations. it was well worth the money. very...More

What a great place to visit, free entry and don't miss any room they are all interesting and if you get chance for the guided tour take it.

Took my two grandsons aged 4&8 and they loved it. The rooms are well set out and lead you through the history of the house and the town. Lots of things to look at and very educational the children. Will definitely go again.

Hi. Really it depends on what day of the week and at what time, as you may be lucky enough to be able to park on a nearby street which surround Christchurch Park. Otherwise, there is public car parking in Ipswich town... More
