this is a great visit at different times. enjoyed a talk about h Wolsey's ipswich, constable v reynolds. its great just to wander.

Great Gallery, Museum and Park free to visit and worth seeing. Lucky Ipswich to have this lovey Mansion and park in the middle of town.

We are so lucky in Ipswich to have the Mansion on our door step in Christchurch Park, and completely free to access. Wonderful Tudor building lovingly restored and maintained with lots to look at, and today we really enjoyed meeting Cardinal Wolsey and Anne Boleyn;...More

Had a look around one nice summers day and the Mansion is very welcoming and warm. Lots to see and do and people on hand to ask questions.

This mansion is really well presented. You can go through all of the rooms and see how they would have been used. There are some great picture galleries and the exhibition on Cardinal Wolsley was very interesting.

This is a lovely museum, in a beautiful park, the exhibition of the ANGELS, was a small one with various pieces, documents, paintings of or about the Ipswich boy Cardinal Wolsley. The free exhibition is on until March 2018. The Mansion is closed on Mondays.

Hi. Really it depends on what day of the week and at what time, as you may be lucky enough to be able to park on a nearby street which surround Christchurch Park. Otherwise, there is public car parking in Ipswich town... More
