Great that Christchurch mansion is still available for free access and to see how life was years ago. All the rooms are as they were and there are old toys, cloths and tools on view.

Whilst in Ipswich, we had time to walk inside the ChristChurch Mansion. It offers a restored Mansion with cultural significance to Ipswich covering furnishings, a toy collection and a seperate (but still, free) Constable Gallery.

It's not selling beer but it's free to go in. Plenty to see and well laid out to tour round the house at your leisure. Cafe available with garden. Guides are available to if you want more detail.
