Living here for 6 weeks. Great beer, friendly locals and great staff. Bit pricey but this is Eastbourne!

Popped in for a sunday roast and was put into the back room where a couch had been thrown in against our table from elsewhere in the establishment, consistently poor treatment by the staff and even pressured into leaving before they had closed. Not all...More

Don't eat in, but well worth it for a take away - the food is amazing, and the portions are huge - don't get one for everyone, just share a few!

Excellent selection of ales. Friendly staff. Roaring Log fire. Very welcoming. Great atmosphere. Good food reasonably priced and service with a smile. Chatty customers and great ambience. Clean toilets and has a good smoking area (says my husband) Worth a visit.

This is one of the better pubs in Eastbourne. Bench seating with cushions all along the front window. Beer ok.

The pub serves both good beer (several good real ales) and good food which is reasonable value. The pub is friendly and comfortable and well worth a visit.

We had dinner at the dolphin last night. Friendly staff. Cosy and tasteful decor. Decent wine list. The weakest link was the food. The rabbit pasta dish was tasteless. The burger was quite overcooked and therefore hard. Keep to absolute basics if you go!
