Modest gallery with a range of spaces over three floors. Ground floor for temporary exhibits. Whilst it looks like a gallery of modern art, I has something for everyone. Well worth a visit.

I love the fact that this gallery is still able to be free, and it has interesting architecture. The exhibition on bird's nests had me puzzled at first. But perseverance paid dividends and I left it with a sense of wonder that is at the...More

The Ravilious collection is excellent and accessible to all I would think. The modern art such as the tent with an ice cap and the record player spinning etc is too modern for me and my family but at least it was different.

It's a good modern building designed to showcase art. If you like contemporary art, this free gallery is a must for you. There is a reasonable amount to see on three floors and they have a cafe on the top floor. Some interesting workshops on...More

Although small this is a very good gallery and for lovers of Eric Ravilious’ superb paintings, there is a very good collection. Well worth a visit.

Seek out this delightful art gallery with its Eric Ravilious collection before it may become a victim of local government funding cuts!

We stayed at a homtel that may be out of your price range. It was the "Big Sleep Hotel", close to the pier and overlooking the sea. We loved it.
