Lovely quiet spot with the most amazing Sangria ever! Friendly staff with a beautiful Scottish brogue! Walked to restaurant from the Riu Bonanza and definitely worth the stop! Disappointed we did not have a chance to try the Haggis - will have to work this...More
We stumbled upon this little bar by accident, out for a walk whilst staying at the Riu Bonanza Playa.
First let me say, this is not a 'hip buzzing place', which is what really attracted us.
Sitting outside, watching the world go by, after being...More
Went for lunch there today. Ordered a daily special: quiche with side salad and crusty bread with drink included for 11.95 euros (not cheap but if prepared fresh and tasty...it’s worth it), my wife ordered a cheese platter. The quiche had a soggy bottom and...More
I have read the reviews and am amazed by some. This is a pokey little bar serving microwave food, and not even good microwave food. Typical bar run by miserable Brits with no idea. Their ham and cheese baguette was worse than one you would...More
Recently stayed nearby with some friends and stumbled across this bar. We visited a few times before we left.
Lovely guy who I think must own the bar.
Nice selection of gin which went down well!
Will visit again next time I’m in the area.
We found this little bar exploring the local area and ended up going most lunch times.
It has a nice outdoor seating area with plenty of shade if you need it. The drinks are reasonably priced and the food menu offers toasties, salads ,jacket potatoes plus...More

We went there twice, both times for coffee. Had desserts the second time and it was a huge mistake. Banoffee pie was old and rubbery, no bananas, instead a layer of some orange looking substance. Apple pie was only passable. Neither was home made and...More

we went at 11am. when it closes who knows, but it does not look like the sort of place you would stay at all night. This is situated at the end of a run of shops, a hairdresser, an estate agent and a bank. The location does not encourage you to stay and you are on the main road out of Illietas by the traffic lights, so you won't get a peaceful drink or micro wave meal.
