We visited the palace during Easter time. For families with children worth a visit. In summer, it is definitely a good day trip from Vienna.

Went to Schloss Hof by bicycle from Devin which is 6,5km. There is Easter market during Easter weekend. We payed only outside family ticket as there is enough attractions outside, Zoo, kids playgrounds and Easter decoration. Go during good weather of course.
