I use the "Nordmarka" at least once a week, summer as winter. My kids love it too, and if you like peace and quiet, listening to the birds, cycle or walk, ski or sled, have fun!

A beautiful walk though the forest with pristine lakes early morning with hardly another person in sight. An essential part of a visit to Oslo.

Enjoy the hundreds of KM of prepared tracks in Oslo Nordmarka. Easy access from the Frognerseteren T-bane and get a snack or coffee at the drinking of stuas in the forest.

Unknown to many tourists Oslo is surrounded by a huge semi-protected forest. There is great selection of cross country skiing tracks during the winter and an equally large selection of paths to walk or bike during the summer. If there is any negative to say...More

We visited Nordmarka by catching the 1 Metro Line heading west all the way to the last stop. You can purchase either a 1 hour ticket or a 24 hour ticket. I would fully recommend the 24 hour ticket. The reason being is if you...More
