Had the most fun at this science centre with my boyfriend. The exhibits are great for kids and adults who are young at heart. We had a lot of time to explore the activities with very few other people around and then enjoyed the magical show at the planetarium which explained all about the Northern Lights and gave us a pretend experience incase we didn’t see them in person.

This informative museum has lots of working exhibits which demonstrate scientific principals interactively. Lots of fun for children and adults alike. They also show a film, shot by a local wildlife artist, featuring the Northern Lights. This is shown in a 360 degree cinema with reclining seats, which allows you to admire the skilled camera work.
Entry is only about £11, there are no refreshments on site.

The northern lights show was great especially when we didn't get to see the northern lights during the time we were in Tromso. Science centre is great for primary school kids. Good place to be when the weather is bad. Food is very limited so take your own if you are going to be there for a while

We pay the expensive entry fare mainly for Planetarium movie about Northern lights. We were confirmed that the film will start at 2:30 PM by the staff and arrived accordingly. The movie was close to the end... They decided to start it earlier.

We recently visited this site as part of our holiday and had a great time, we are two adults above 30 and we’re thoroughly entertained as well as learnt some things we didn’t know. It is very interactive and is based across two floors with an additional floor for the auditorium - very comfortable seating and interesting documentary about the northern lights! It wasn’t very busy when we went (Tuesday at approx 12:00 - 15:00. There is a small gift shop with some puzzle type items for all ages. We weren’t able to find a cafe on-site so something to bear in mind. The bus stop is right outside and takes you back into the town centre so very easy to get to. Would definitely come back again.

This place was a lot of fun, and we are two adults in our 30s! There is a lot of information with signage in English, and a lot of interactive exhibits. My husband and I had fun with a whole floor of interactive science games. There was also a show about the Northern lights which we enjoyed.

By far impressive. Absolutely recommend this. Went there knowing it might be a bit small, but well worth it.
