From here you have a stunning view over Vienna and the City Klosterneuburg, you can walk there or take a direct bus, if you take the "Nasenweg" you can have a nice rest in Kahlenbergerdorf

Our Austrian friends took us to this place for the views over Vienna and of the Danube in particular. It was a lovely sunny day and we did indeed have some magnificent views. It wasn't filled with loads of tourists either so we were able...More

Kahlenberg commanded a nice view in 1974 when I first visited Vienna. But the view there was not good in the recent visits, because it looked a little smoggy. The same bus will take you to Leopoldsberg, which is better to see the Danube river...More

Vienna’s poshest green leafy suburb is also its most
romantic hotspot. Walk up Grinzinger Strasse with its
many historic wine taverns. The tops of nearby
Nussberg and Reisenberg hills make for great strolls
through the vineyards, and the occasional discovery of
a hidden winery. Popular local weekend hangouts are
Neustift am Walde with even more great wine taverns,
and café restaurant Cobenzl, up on Cobenzl hill –
