Arenbergpark is a small park located in the third district, we have come here mainly to view another of the Flak Towers which still remain in Vienna today. During WW2 Nazi Germany built a number of these anti-aircraft concrete towers around Vienna, it was of...More

Great public space with cafes, sport pitches and a kids swimming pool. The park also contains two brutalist relics from WW2 in the form of huge concrete flak towers, which are both imposing and interesting. I hope they are retained and preserved for future generations...More

This is a great local park with a kids play area and lots of green space for adults to walk and enjoy. We loved teaching the kids the history of the flak tower that dominates the area as well.

The Arenbergpark in Vienna's third district combines a large children's playground, nice green space, and two WWII flak towers. It is located behind Ungargasse. Despite not being on a main tourist thoroughfare, there are occasional non-locals around. Mostly though this is a green Vienna space...More
