This building is most imporressive at night when it is illuminated and I think that brings out the best of the architecture.

I have read about the building's history but when I wisited Vienna it was during massive renovations. Can't wait to go again to Vienna just to visit this place!

It's a pity that the building site cranes and scaffolding spoil the image of Parliament at the moment - this masterpiece of classicist architecture, designed by Theophile Hansen from 1874. He imagined to have the coloured facade in the beginning, but that was ommited due...More

A beautiful building, one of the many in Vienna, even allowing for the fact that there is work ongoing at the moment which somewhat obscures a full view. Very close to the Volkspark at the back of the Hofburg and close also to the Rathaus....More

We stopped by the Parliament building before the Volksgarten after visiting Rathaus. Unfortunately the building is under construction so there is lots of dust / scaffolding and cranes. Don't despair as there are plenty of other things in the area to get photos of!

I've seen it before and it's very interesting and beautiful building but currently there appears to be renovations so you can't see much.

This building looked very impressive and we would have liked to see inside. However, it is surrounded by scaffolding and I understand it is being refurbished. You get a good glimpse of the front from the Volksgarten.

I love how on my tour that we were able to get up close and personal with the chambers of parliament. You have art, architecture, politics, history, something for everybody.
