... a waste incineration plant! Seriously! It looks much more as a modern art museum or something! But this Hundertwasser’s incineration plant is another masterpiece of this painter/architect: colours and shapes will totally blow your mind! Must-see!
Spittelau is a bit off the road, but if one uses the Vienna transport system it is easily accessible. It is probably the coolest heating plant (Hundertwasser architecture), and moreover it is not crowded around it so one can enjoy the view...
Forget the Hundertwasserhaus - this is far better! Even if you can only visit it from the outside. The Spittelau is right next to a metro station (lines U4 and U6), so it's no big detour from wherever you are in Vienna.
