Excellent tour, very authentic as our guide was a sewer worker, so could tell us all about the operations of Vienna’s underground labyrinth. I’m no Third Man superfan or anything, but I’ve seen the film, and it was great that they use the actual manhole...More

I really liked that we have learned how important is the work of the people down there. It was pretty stinky but what do you expect its a canal. 😂 I recommend everybody this tour, who wants to experience something extraordinary.

Not a museum tour guide with theoretical knowledge but real canal workers give the tour. An insightful journey into the hidden, dark underground of Vienna. Very worth seeing it. Exciting, differen, away from the beaten paths, but not dangerous. Nice mix of film projections, self...More

Just been on the English speaking tour. It was fantastic. Two great guides ( Peter and Mike you know who you are!) brought it all to life. Very atmospheric. Booking was easy via internet - reserved our places and paid on arrival. Would thoroughly recommend.

This tour starts where one of the final scenes of "The Third Man" was shot and the trees at the entarnce are the originals from 1948. The water is really an underground river not a sewer spo there is no danger. Pre booking is pretty...More

I booked this 6 months ago, my flight was late and I arrived just 5 minutes before the start. I have to say Peter and Chris (KISS) were fun and had a relaxed vibe. The tour was fun, they had some real tidbits and I...More

I visited the tour with a few of my friends and it was great. I would recomend watching the film the third man beforehand. It does stink a bit in the sewers, but you get used to it quite quickly. If you love the film,...More

A Trip to the sewers might not sound tempting, but leaving this out on your trip to vienna would be a huge mistake. A hard hat, a great enthusiastic, funny tour guide and a unique look at Vienna's unseen underground world. An amazing experience that...More

I'm an absolutely massive Third Man fan -- one of my all-time favourite films. So of course being in Vienna I just had to visit all the famous spots: the Ferris Wheel, the Mozart Cafe and the street where Orson Welles is revealed for the...More

I went in September and cold bits were cold enough. I would think that it is indeed a bit too cold in March for the tour especially when you go to the main sewer.
