Vienna is one of the greenest cities in Europe. I was surprised how many parks, gardens and even green patches in this beautiful city. This garden is well kept and has a statue of Sissi.

The Volksgarten is a peaceful oasis in the bustling heart of Vienna city centre. Despite the traffic passing close by, it’s possible to just immerse oneself in the serenity of these formal gardens for fifteen minutes before rejoining the hubbub outside its boundaries.

The Volksgarten has wonderfully kept grounds, rose gardens everywhere, amazing statues, and is a perfect place to wander on a sunny, summer day. Highly recommended!

This garden is centrally located and while meandering around Hofburg, you will come upon it. The rose garden is very pretty. There was a harpist playing which added to the atmosphere. It doesn't take long to walk around and the Temple, a bright white building...More
