Just take city bus 38 and after a short ride you are enjoying the fresh air of the forest, the lungs of a big city.

I imagined to see a real special scene, due to Schubert waltz, but we can see a beautiful sceneray as well when we go from Prague to Vienna or vice versa

Complete contrast to the grandeur of Vienna. These small towns and villages provide a tranquil, green environment and a chance to enjoy natural beauty.

Travelled by tram and bus and were not disappointed. The views are spectacular and walks in the woods were peaceful and relaxing. A nice restaurant and cafe there for refreshments.

Vienna’s poshest green leafy suburb is also its most
romantic hotspot. Walk up Grinzinger Strasse with its
many historic wine taverns. The tops of nearby
Nussberg and Reisenberg hills make for great strolls
through the vineyards, and the occasional discovery of
a hidden winery. Popular local weekend hangouts are
Neustift am Walde with even more great wine taverns,
and café restaurant Cobenzl, up on Cobenzl hill –
