Our grandson is in college studying to become an architect. When he found out we were going to be in Vienna, he told us about some interesting buildings we might enjoy. The Postsparkasse was his favorite. We shared his enthusiasm after going through this beautiful...More

From architectural standpoint - quite a find. Simplicity and style of the building is just great. Easy to find, near the Ministry of War. Lovely garden in front of it.

After seeing the postal savings bank in Budapest this was underwhelming. It wasn't possible to really explore and it is out-of-the-way. Not the best use of time in Vienna.

Interesting building by Otto Wagner, a member of the Vienna Secession movement. Entry into the lobby is free. The building also houses the Otto Wagner museum (entry fee).

We don't see what the big fuss is all about. Vienna has so many better and more beautiful Jugenstil buildings.

If you like architecture then take a few minutes to pop into the Postsparkasse. It's a beautiful jugendstil building and anyone can just go in. Look both outside and inside.

Located along the Ringstrasse boulevard in the heart of Vienna, Postsparkasse was built by famous architect Otto Wagner and became one of the most important examples of Viennese Jugendstil. A Must-See in Vienna.
