It is a disgrace to ask money to visit this place as there is nothing to see inside or outside. Really, nothing. Ok, there is one room of 5x5 m with some plants in pots. The rest of the huge building is closed. The garden...More

Incl as one of the attractions in the classic ticket for schoenbrunn palace but there's literally nothing to see inside the plant house as every room except the tiny entrance is closed down. The garden is totally bare with one small fountain and a crow....More

The Orangery offers nightly concerts of Haydn, Mozart - a chamber orchestra plus two singers and two dancers. Great setting - worth visiting.

We signed up for this concert & opera and it was quite good to the inexperienced concert goer as I am. I did feel as though it was sort of a formal “practice “ session for both the musicians and the singers though. The Hall...More

I associate Vienna with music so this was a highlight for us. They did a great job. The musicians were highly skilled and we enjoyed the dancers and the opera singers. I would suggest sitting as far forward as possible for optimal viewing because all...More

Sold under false pretences-the venue (hot and poor visibility) and quality of the programme overall was a farce. The opera singing was OK, but they sang in Italian? I’m assuming, but no words were provided so it was meaningless for the majority of the tourists...More

The Orangery has a plethora of plants in a nicely arranged garden. Overall very picturesque, but considering you have to pay for it not really worth it. Considering all that Schoenbrunn Palace has to offer this is not a highlight.

Vienna’s 13th district has always been in the shadow
of Schönbrunn Palace and its gardens, but has
interesting hidden gems waiting to be discovered.
Allow half a day for the imposing Habsburg residence
and the gardens with Gloriette belvedere. Reserve the
other half to discover the secret charms of this posh
residential neighbourhood. Sneak out of the gardens at
