A very learning and intersting visit to this amazing Kunst Haus. We learned an awful lot about Hundertwasser's life and art. Great story - even though I find his philosophy a bit easy and some of his art too commercial

Hundertwasserhaus – a residential block of 50 apartments opened 1986 with the wackily creative hallmarks of Hundertwasser, Vienna’s radical architect and lover of uneven surfaces, curvy lines, crayon-bright colours and mosaic detail. One can just view from outside – though we had seen there is...More

We came here with our 19 year old daughter. The museum have two floors with hudertwasders paintings . The paintings are very nice and vivid. You must see the movie about his philosophy in the second floor. There is a good cafe inside the museum.

I agree with some previous reviewers that this museum can be a bit difficult to find as it is outside of the Ringstrasse and it is on the other side of the small Wienfluss canal about a 25 -30 minute walk from Stephansplatz. It is...More

I discovered this beautiful museum while visiting Hundertwasserhaus. It presents Hundertwasser’s colorful art and some non-permanent exhibitions. Visit if you like modern art and want to see something different than usual Viennese attractions.

The Kunst Haus is one of my favourite Galleries along with MoMA and Tate Modern. On this occasion I went to see the Still Life Exhibition which I have to say was a little disappointing. However, it is such a lovely space a visit is...More

We had, 18 months ago, come across Hundertwasser's toilet block in New Zealand so were fascinated to catch some of his work in his home location. The museum building is very quirky. Particularly liked the upside down water feature in the entrance where the water...More

I always loved the cafe kunsthaus for its green part of the Hundertwasser appearance. The charming garden, no matter whether at day or in the evening lit with lights, is just calling to spend endless hours celebrating. The owner of the cafe made sure all...More
