Like others who have posted reviews, not sure I wanted to go but certainly glad I did. Outstanding classical music of the composers symbolic with Vienna

I was persuaded by the three women I was travelling with to go to the concert - not usually my sort of thing as its very touristy. The tickets were sold to us at one side of the Hofburg by a very persuasive guy who...More

It seemed appropriate when in Vienna to attend a classical concert. We weren't sure where to go. This one was held in magnificent surroundings of the Hofburg Palace, in a room with at least 60 chandeliers, which created the ambience that transported you back to...More

We went to this concert with friends.Because I am not a classical music fan I did not expect much. To my surprise I enjoyed the concert and was thoroughly entertained.

Beautiful music from Strauss and Mozart. Amazing sopranos and touch of humor from conductor and percussionist. Very much enjoyed this beautiful music.

We watched a good concert at The Imperial Palace. Its for lovers of Strauss. The sopranos were excellent and the small orchestra were superb.

This is a do not miss event while in Vienna! The musicians are some of the best I have ever seen and the singers and ballerinas added another dimension to the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

This was the worst choice we made in a 2 week vacation. Commercialized, impersonal, and a hall packed with cheap banquet chairs, wedged tightly together. Be very certain about the venue before you commit, but better yet - find a different service to provide this...More

The orchestra and vocalists were at least good, but the venue was very poor. It appeared to have been a large ballroom with high ceiling, hard wall surfaces, filled with audience on folding chairs. The room was not acoustically designed for performances, so from at...More

We were there in the beginning of June, although a few men had jackets, most had on a dress shirt and slacks, and some were in nice polos. It really is a more relaxed event. Hope this helps.

It is ok to dress casually. They are catered for tourists so we are not expected to have our suit and dresses ready. I did notice a few Japanese tourists came well prepared though!
