It amazes me to see the historical sites of any city. Vienna was no exception. Take a side street and you're transported to an other time. Turn a corner and be surprised by a McDonald's restaurant that has wood paneling, crown molding and chandeliers! The...More

Its the best part of the city. You can walk for hours especially during Christmas where everything is lightning. Roads only for pedestrians.

Public transportation was easy to use and augmented with Uber. The historic center was decorated in full Christmas with a large market. The prices in Vienna are what was expected in a large city but lower at times!

The area is dominated by the Cathedral as the main landmark, sorrundedby streets of beautiful old architecture and some old shops and cafes. Easy to reach from the UBahn. Then streets of lovely top brand shops. The actual central area is really stunning.
