If you like cities, Vienna rates highly in our book and there's a lot to see if you have the time. We certainly hope to return and spend more time in the Historic Centre.

Historic center of Vienna is great, so many sights, historical buildings, galleries, nice cafes. The only "issue" is the number of tourists, it can be annoying in the high season but it is the same in every popular metropolis.

Vienna lived up to its name of being very beautiful. A visit to the Opera and a boat trip down the Danube is recommended. You will not need a car as the trams and underground is cheap and very efficient
