We were staying very close to the palace, and so it was perfectly accessible. Even more accessible if you purchase tickets for the bus tours, which have a stop directly outside. The gardens were beautifully kept and the house gorgeous.

It is clear that this used to a beautiful place. Emphasis on "used to be." If you have been to Schonbrunn or Peterhof, then prepare to be underwhelmed. We could not believe the amount of untrimmed bushes everywhere. Not at all what one would expect....More

Garden between Lower and Upper Belvedere is nice but not as beautiful as near Schonbrunner palace. There are fountains, a lot of flowers (especially roses), benches and many people who use this place for running. You can also find there "info box" in many languages...More
