I was lucky to find this museum open one evening. It contains an eclectic collection that spans the history of Kitzbuhel. There are explanations in English for many of the items. As I recall, the museum covered the history of the region, mining in the...More

Created in an historic location the museum has clearly had money spent on it (modern design, well presented exhibits, air-conditioning and humidity control). There is a slight paucity of exhibits and the museum dwells on the location's ancient provenance, the bronze age. There is an...More

An interesting and centrally located look back at the history of the legendary downhill course of Kitzbuhel. A lovely addition to a visit to the town to learn about the Hahnenkamm. Worth an hour or so.
