We stumbled into this church while looking for another Innsbruck attraction. It was tranquil and quiet and a good place to rest and reorient ourselves. The church is worth a visit and one of the prettiest places in Innsbruck.

If you've ever taken up a serious pursuit of Christian theologians, then you know Karl Rahner. The remains of Rahner and other famous Jesuits have been deposited in the crypt. Naturally, the church is on Karl-Rahner-Platz. Like some other churches in the area, the Jesuit...More

A beautiful, peaceful church for a short visit. Unexpectedly, we found that this was open in the evening. It was lovely to have it to ourselves with its elegant dome and beautiful, meditative crypt. Well worth a visit.

It doesn't hardly look like a church from the outside but inside it is lovely. The original church dates back to the 1600s. There are several very beautiful paintings in the side altars.

This church is truly massive in scale and although the interior is impressive, it's hardly stunning. In May 2018, it was also tricky to visit as a stage has been set up outside the church and it does seem to be closed. But it isn't....More

If you enjoy visiting older churches, you should include this on your trip. It was a simple, peaceful church without a lot of tourists. I enjoyed seeing the original baroque portions, and the new more modern additions. The crypts were also interesting to visit.

This is a real must if you like to visit beautiful old churches. It is a really good place to sit quietly and take in your surroundings. I was the only person in the church for about 10 minutes which was a real privilege. Some...More

This church is much quieter and less touristic than the other in the middle of town. With it's nice roof and art it's really worth a visit!

A nice church elegantly decorated with an attractive high altar with parts of the main altar modernized in a contemporary style. But compared to the Cathedral and the neighboring Hofkirche, it is rather simple, understated and a plain baroque church.
