It's must experience. My 6 year old son loved it and loved cable car and he enjoyed seeing people doing hiking and cycling. He felt happy and encouraged and he wants to return back to do it in future. I loved alps and would wish...More

The views from the top are just amazing. Really charming funicular and cable car ride followed by a short hike up to the top! The summit also has a cafe where you can get a drink or a quick bite.

Four stations designed by Iraqi-born architect Zaha Hadid, inspired by the glaciers of Tirol. Two stops in the city, one at the Alpine Zoo, and uppermost at Hungerberg where you can switch to cable cars for two more stages uphill, with selection of hikes and...More

It's a must do thing in Innsbruck. Though the ticket price is high, overall experience is commensurate. Amazing piece of technology to take you from city centre to top of Nordkette mountain with great vistas all round. Loved the furnicular ride to 1st station. Good...More

Not a cheap experience but we thought, “ too good to miss” . A fantastic trip up to almost the top of the mountain and we spent most of the day at the top. The views are fabulous although hazy on our day up there....More

This is one of those things you just need to suck it up and do it. The views from the top of the Nordkette are awesome (just check the weather ahead of time). It can be cold up top so bring warm clothes even in...More

The ticketing is a little confusing here but make sure you go right up to the top. The views are just spectacular and we were lucky to get a really clear day. There are options for eating and drinking there, not bad prices but I...More

Went all the way to the top and great views. Bear in mind it’s colder and probably windy so take more clothing even on a warm day. Easy walk up to the summit. We walked down from the mid station to the zoo which was...More

Super view on top of the mountain. Best go is the morning, otherwise little crowdy. Resto on top. Do not forget your pull over cause 10 degrees colder than downtown. Activity for all ages.

This is a definite must do when in Innsbruck. The ride to the top only takes about 25 minutes and you have to switch cars once. There are restaurants at nearly every stop and once you get to the top, you have an amazing view...More

Its a very short ride. Even if you go up to the very top (which we highly recommend), it takes less than 30 minutes.

You can purchase the Innsbruck card at your hotel when you get there. It's worth the money and is truly all you will need for sightseeing. The bus is included with the card and will take you right to Congress where you will... More

We visited in the first week of May and it was lovely. If you have plans to ski then i would suggest you go earlier like in Jan.
