Costs too much for what it is. However, still great views of the cemetery from half way up. Worth a look. Shame not slightly cheaper.

Inexpensive look into the distant past and the opportunity to see where religious people once lived. Very steep steps.

For us the view from there was not worth the 2x2 euro price. But that is a matter of taste so maybe you will like it :) Catacombs are not interesting at all.

Right off the side of St Peters Square, we had not planned to visit this particular site, but semi stumbled across it as we were leaving the square. Unique history and were spent some time there looking at all the graves / markers. Fairly interesting.

We enjoyed our visit to the catacombs while spending a day in Salzburg. The history was impressive as was the views from some of the upper chambers.

Not at all extensive, but dug inside the mountain makes it quite interesting. It's 15min - get in get out and move on

We visited the catacombs since it was included as part of the Salzburg Card, I think it was 2Euros to pay to get in otherwise. They are not underground, but built into the side of the cliff. The stairs are narrow and uneven, so use...More
